Gabby looks nice but somehow im not 100 percent pleased with her look. I dont know what it is. is it the makeup? or her smile (yes miss critique thinks in some photos she is smiling to hard almost, does this make sense?)
I cant put my finger on it yet. oh well, hopefully more pics soon. thank god for facebook!

And to be honest its not only her who just isnt pulling it off 100 percent. one of my favs ecuador doesnt look as good as her photoes either.to be honest i think these girls are just a product of photoshop. its just used way to much now, so when you see candids they dont look the same.

...don't like the make-up at all. Someone else commented on Pageantmania that they think she is using too much bronzer (or however you spell it-yes Ms Critique you could help me with the spelling). Yes Gabby is smiling in all the pics, but it looks very one note because of the make-up for me-it just throws the whole look off. I always liked her smile and I am sure with better lighting the bronzer would look better but ...as a few have commented...and I agree...with Gabby, she tends to look way better with less make-up at times. For the finals, I expect her to go all out with the make-up but for these candid shots maybe she should use less -she look fantastic when Zi Lin visited T&T so I am sure she knows how to work the make-up.

That being said, for me the best shot are always taken outdoors in the sun because the lighting is much better.

Mm yes I think the makeup is 1. very heavy (which i guess is normal for these things) and 2. the shade is just not working for her. yes maybe too much bronzer for real. She looks soo much better when she keeps it simple. Well I`ll wait to see more photos, hopefully it will get better. But her clothes are on point as usual though. I knew that wont be issue with her.

I believe that Gabbi is wearing too much make up. She really does look much better with less or a natural look her flawless face and skin isn't meant to be covered up like that who ever is doing her make up needs to told that come on. Any way all the best rock this pageant GABBI!!!!

You know i guess my problem is that in all those group shots thus far FOR ME, she isnt standing out the way I want her too.
I mean my eyes arent going straight to her. I wish there was more of a wow factor. ANd i know her height is one issue. On the runway she is very fierce...and can pull it off. But in the photos...hmmm

...of the delegates at all. Half of the photos floating around all the boards are from Gabby's FB page-Globalbeauties even posted a couple stating they did not know where they came from.

Anyways, I am not worried. Gabby knows what expectations everyone has for her and she can deliver. She needs to impress during the interviews and EG and SS segments. She has what it takes to place in the semis and to go far. Interview! Interview! Interview! Can't stress that enough.

On another note smurfguyl, are you by chance the one on Pageantmania posting negative comments repeatedly about Gabby? If you don't have anything good to say, then please say it only once if you must and balance it off with something positive. This is our girl. We have enough people who bash T&T every year, regardless of who we send. I don't understand all the sudden comment about how she looks-we have had enough untouched photos of her for you to know what she looks like. Yes the comment about the makeup was a critical one but we don't need to hear repeatedly how "unimpressive" and "ordinary" she looks. I am not worried-Gabby will do her best and I know she has what it takes to do well-it's up to the judges to decide if she is a good fit.

Sorry Trini, I love our girls, i love my country but im always gonna post my true thoughts. good or bad. im not just gonna blindly support and love everything because im a trini. i hate her makeup, her first pics didnt impress me and ill see what happens next. my posts arent gonna affect her scores or anything dont worry.

So ..LOL..let me get this straight.
Ive seen you guys post negative things about other girls..like Jamaica (trivial things such as the mole) or Venezuela (her nose..which ive also talked about). so thats okay...
but saying something negative about our girl is not okay?
I think it just all turns into this kind of patriotic/fanatic and sometimes true opinions are lost.
and im always supportive of our girls..so if she looks fab i will sing her praises(as ive been doing). and if she doesnt i will also say it

I don't know what nose issue you claim we "guys" (whoever apart from me you are referring to) had with Miss Venezuela-when last did I ever comment about that mole-oh yes, it was about a couple months ago and I said it was unattractive-you must still be visiting the Jamaica Star forum where her nose and mole are still an issue for some of her own supporters.

I never said to not post your thoughts-but at this time, when you know who looking to bash T&T all over the place, you come literally out of the starting blocks like a horse on Kentucky derby day with one NOTE on an international forum-"Gabby is not impressive." So Ms Critique, please, with all due respect, check yourself. To my knowledge, you don't know the difference between a critique and bashing-a critique needs to be based on truth and hopefully points out something that can be improved. If you are so concerned about Gabby's overall appearance and can't contain the overflow that is your opinion, then please try to keep most of those floodwaters in this forum where it is the T&T home base and not people from a various countries around the world.

No one appreciates this ONE NOTE mentality! It's like you only have tunnel vision with Gabby. You can't see others.

and dearest trini, i dont visit nor did i even know about that jamaican star forum. just look at all your past posts on miss. and you`ll remember what im talking about.
See the thing is I look past the sash...and some ppl dont.
for example i remember when you posted that pic of anya at the mall in vietnam in that short pants, i wrote how much i hated that trashy look. of course you almost bit my head off. now you are writing that you didnt like that outfit...blah blah wasnt appropriate etc. Why didnt you say that before? After she didnt make the cut you were like another person saying all kinds of things. a week before that she could do no wrong.
Just be honest sometimes thats all im saying. and ill continue to post my thoughts, because it doesnt concern me if it plese you or not

Let's focus on supporting Gabby, and giving useful critiques that the pageant company can use-I am sure they along with Gabby have already seen the suggestions about her make-up and they will adjust as they think is best.

Why the fighting here. I dont understand some of the disagreement. Smurfgyrl, what happened to you?. Wont you the one just recently praising Gabby?. To me she looks fabulous. I did not know you held such disdane for Trini77. You always seemd to agree with him or most of his comments. You sond like a new person. Gabby dont look like a different person from when she left.
