Subject: Trying to break Vietnam War film cliches.

My name is John Matysiak and I am currently writing a "Vietnam War" themed script. One of my biggest issues with a lot of contemporary vietnam films are the cliched charaters portrayed. It's as if filmmakers don't bother to go the extra mile to create "real" people. I too feel I have fallen victum to this.

I am looking for anyone interested in sharing stories and or fielding questions I have, to help create "real" characters that the audiences have not been exposed to. Especially looking for people who spent a great deal of time out in the bush and on extended patrols.

Thank you all for you time and consideration and above all, your sacrifices made aboard and at home.

Kind Regards and much respect.
