An attempt to put a face and memory to Rudy Sedillo, friend, classmate and deceased Veteran. Rudy was Class of 65 at Flagstaff HS. Everyone knew Rudy in school as an outgoing and popular classmate, but the entire town as well knew Rudy and his brother, Jimmy (James). As a freshman and knew guy in school, Rudy was the first student to welcome me. He was my friend from that day forward.
Rudy, James, another friend, and myself played on the same local basketball team in the fall of 65/66 and we all four joined different branch's of the miliary and last time I would see Rudy and Jimmy. There's a Flag Hi Reunion Aug. 27-29 this year where all or most knew Rudy. I emailed this to Nancy months ago. Possibly military memories, but Rudy is remembered for the young man/man he was as well.
