This is considered a tropical freswater fish and requires the water temperature to be 24 - 28�C. Water pH should be neutral. The description of the species Synodontis obesus (Bougenger 1896) gives the total length of 375mm for the largest specimen. These fish come from the Gabon, Ghana and Cameron.
