First, I spent a year trying to make an accurate chronology of when people mentioned in the Bible, lived! I added up the years each character until he "begat" and then how many years he lived after he "begat!" Then I followed the offspring he begat till his offspring begat other offspring. I have a seamless continuity from Adam to only Noah so I can't do a reverse chronology to and from B.C.E. (B eginning of Common Era) and A.D. Adding up the sum of all the years, I came up with aproximately 10,500 years from Adam to Noah.

While I totally disagree, I can't disagree with them because I can't prove them wrong but the renowned TimeTable of History (Kulturfahrplan) by Werner Stein and translated by Bernard Grun puts Noah and the Great Flood at approximately 700 B.C.E. which means that ALL life before except for Noah and those on the Ark were extinct after the flood!

However, the Chinese have a written history of 4,000 + years which put the Noah timetable back at least 2000 years before Christ meaning 2000 years for the Chinese recorded history + my sum of the years of the characters in the Bible is 12,500 years from Adam to Jesus Christ. So nothing is for sure unless it can be proven It is all speculation and belief!

Secondly, the Apostle Peter said that one day to God is as a 1,000 years to man. I don't know of any Christians but one -- if you are a Christian -- who doesn't regard them as fighting words to say that God really created the world in 6,000 years.

If so-called "Christians" can be so wrong about this one aspect, then that gives any thinking individual pause when you assert that God waved his magic wond and poof, the earth appeared!

All I'm saying is this earth was created from bits and pieces of other plants and astroids in the cosmos! What and who is to say that that dinosaur which someone uncovered and carbon dated to have live 250,000,000 years ago, why couldn't it have lived 250,000,000 years ago but on another planet?

God said he works through natural means. His natural means may seem like miracles to us but that is because we don't understand. Man's role is to learn as much as we can and teach others!

I think creationism proves evolution. If you saw pictures of my ancestors only about 150 years ago, you would swear someone dressed a chimpanzee up in a dress and took a picture. When I said that to my mother, she slapped me!

Is anyone so absolutely positive that their beliefs are in fact true, void of any clearly definable proof to the contrary, that after being able to exercise their God given right to freely make a choice, they would condemn someone else for making a different choice? Such is the Plan of Satan!
