Hiding of IPs is disouraged (but not prohibited) in the channel because many abusive people are using it more to cause trouble in the channel than anything else. They use the masked (bouncer) IPs so that their true IPs cannot be detected. YOU MAY USE MASKED (BOUNCER) IPs IN #Bohol IF YOU REGISTER THE IP WITH THE CHANNEL MANAGER. Too many chatters use masked (bouncer) IPs to cause trouble in the channel because they have a hard time getting helper/OP access and some chatters whose access have beeen removed due to channel rule violations. DOMAINS WILL BE BANNED in the channel if it becomes a source of abuse.

i understand sir that it may cause abuse. u said that some people can register their masked IP's or BNC that can be used in the channel, i am hoping that there will be a space for a form for that in this site for application purpose. I have seen also that some AOL IP accounts are banned in the channel, i think the only best IP's are numeric one's because they mostly used in the channel.
