She gives a faint smile and bends slightly, offering an outstretched hand to the male. Shaking the gourd husk with the other hand, she makes a low purling sound deep in her throat, her sharp eyes trained no place in particular. The male strolls up to her a little hesitantly at first, she had not been his usual playmate. She allows him to inspect her forearm and as he prowls around her she restrains a bout of laughter when his warm nose smushes into her bare foot. She wiggles her fingertips in front of his nose to bring him back in front of her, and when he's there, she gently strokes the fur between his shoulderblades. He squeezes his eyes shut for a moment before leaping away and crouching down, wanting to play again. She shrugs and shakes the gourd husk again, which he steps forward to inspect imperiously. After a moment, he takes the husk and proceeds to chew it and bat it around.

"He'll get tired of that, for sure. It'll wear out before he does." Taunia says with a quiet smile, looking around at the other chirrs. "They're all so perfect, each one."
