Subject: Approach with care

The first of the two twins to enter the den is Tayo. He makes a quiet entrance and gives a slow bow to Redevance. He beckons his sister who stands beside him, both barely in the den at all, but just observing the general action. "Tayo," the girl whispers, "Tayo I brought something they might like, they're more beautiful then I thought." The boy nods and Taunia reaches into her pack to bring forth a soft hided blanket dyed in gentle colors on one side. On the other side, the silvered fur of an animal still stands out in original splendor.

"But that is your sleeping hide, Taun-" Placing a hand against her protesting brother, she smiles and nods in confidence. Bending gracefully, she spreads it on the ground and invites anyone to play with the blanket by lightly rolling it along the ground.

"They are wonderful, and so proud. The mother must be incredibly protective of them." Tayo agrees, standing protectively by his sister. Taking from his own pack a medium sized cushion redolent with drawings of small animals and birds, he sets it gently down, almost tenderly, making a little noise as he does so. "Some toys for your children. This used to be my sleeping cushion."

"And this hide was my blanket." Taunia adds softly, knowing, positively knowing that the mother Niyia could hear her. "It still has the fur on it, they can hunt it." She offers a gentle smile as she and her brother wait for the mother's approval of their gifts.
