seen. Suddenly a ghostly white mare rears onto her hind legs and beats wildly in the air with her forelegs. There is nothing to be seen in the direction of her threatining gesture. She lands, then jump, and in mid air, she kicks out to do one of the the "ares" that are taught to the orld famous Lippizaner stallions, but she was not one of them. She learned this beautiful trick when trying to keep predators away. Then she stops. Her orbs focus intently at you, burning the image into her mind. She sets off at a gallop with a suddeness that startles a mare and makes her shy. The ground rumbles beneath her powerful hooves. Two yards away she swerves, showing her agility. She comes closer, now nearly muzzle to muzzle. She stands still, as if rooted to the spot, snorting and blowing, watching you. She decides to stay here, at this sunny beach. She loves the ocean.*
