Subject: Lightly dappled mare ingresses (and plays in the water)

The silver-pelted mare ingresses, dapples shining on well muscled shoulders and hindquarters like sunlight splitting through thick trees onto the forest floor. Ears are pricked alertly, and finely shaped cardinal is upraised as obsidian hooves carry her to a halt. Oculus' turn warily to scan the littoral in search of any hidden pitfall. The land is satisfactory by far, and she half-passes to the side as water rushes up to her knees and hocks. Apprehensively splashing reservoir, she lets out a sharp and surprised whicker as it bounces into cinnamon eyes. Ears pirk forward and proboscis lowers to closer inspect. Tentatively she paws at it, this time pleasently surprised with a cooling sensation on sterling legs. Springing into a buck, she begins to amuse herself within the waves. A spin here, a few graceful strides through water there, and muffled snorts to accompany her comical antics.
