vory femora turned her dial to face the silver filly. One who reminded her so much of her little one. At just that moment, DOT pranced onto the scene, as if on cue. She looked at the new filly curiously, then butted her side playfully before looking up to her mom. ~~Mom, wheres Lorien? I want someone to play with!~~ Looking down on her progeny with kind eyes, Polar smiled. ~~I saw her awhile ago, she went on a trip to see some relatives. She'll be back soon.~~ Turning her gaze again to the larger form, she spoke softly, so as not to burden young ears with evil tidings. ~~It is my mate, he comes and goes, and I'm not sure if I should stay with him. I want him and our daughter to be happy, but I need to be happy too. I could if he were around more oftne, but he isn't, and...~~ Here she paused then shooed her filly away so she wouldn't hear. ~~I have become attracted to another brute, whose name I cannot utter. I could normally hold back, save he is never here, and I am beginning to wonder if I should not look for myself another. DOT needs to grow up with a father, and I have tried bu am failing, I think, to raise her on my own. I can't do it alone.~~ Realizing she had said too much, she turned away quickly, embarrassed at her outburst. ~~I'm sorry,~~ she mumbled, ~~I shouldn't have burdened you with my troubles.~~
