His wariness had subsided slightly, as his focus ponders over the given question. The textbooks he had studied on warfare revealed nothing unusual about this one. In a number of neutral first-hand accounts, the writer had recorded the general accusations and complaints of the citizens and military about the opposing sides. Most had been similar, the ignorant blaming all their woes upon the enemy, and the general mass grabbing every small fact given them and wringing it for all it was worth. In such instances small arguments became threats and a death in any situation..usually drunken brawls, turned into pre-planned assassinations.

Dark chocolate gaze shifts briefly over his interrogaters features. These people could not seriously believe such information could be valuable!
