Okay.. You can keep with the Star Wars theme, but don't use the names of any actual main characters (obscure, secondary characters are fine) Try to keep things as far as technology and weapons by the guidelines in The Lost Colony Guide. (a link at the top of Badhbh's Lair)
Also.. you can't just have spaceships dropping in.. you have to give an adequate warning.. as in, show them arriving in deep space, then show a message in Tanari Orbit.. so that Tanari itself has time to react. Realistically, the Alliance is not just going to let war ships to come barging onto their planet with apparent violence without defending themselves. So if this happens, expect a nice little crowd of fighters to come buzzing over. Just to let you know.. I have no problems with it.. it will be great for getting people active, if that is what you end up doing.

Also a note.. usually you have to check into the hall before you are automatically accepted as an active fighting member of the Alliance. Their standards are much less rigid than the Federation, but they still have to know you are there. If you don't plan on being an active fighter right away, you can settle in the square.
