I joined up on MM 2 or 3 weeks after the new board went up. At that time, this board had gone into hibernation. Almost as soon as I joined MM, Gary posted a person's email that had been marked private. That pissed me off. Then Gary began to delete posts that were not necessarily basketball related, but clearly not harmful. That pissed me off too. So I came over here and begged Pablo to get his board moving again. It worked. Now we post stupid shit on here all the time, but this board is ten times as much fun as what MM has become in the last couple of weeks.

As the season approaches, I fully expect to see much more thoughtful basketball posts here than on the MM board. We are rightfully labeled rabble rousers, but we are also hard core hoops fans. MM has gone over the edge. The Shadow is Hitler and muskieman is one hundred million Germans following in his wake blindly. Plus, muskieman's nipples are the size of a midget's fist. Now they have 5 friggin monitors and can blame each other aimlessly for deleted posts/banned users.

My biggest concern for the MM board is how they will handle it when muskieman's coworkers get on his computer and use his moderator status to raise all kinds of hell on their precious sanctuary.

These guidelines suck, are guided to prevent the posters I most enjoy reading from posting, and will be enforced in only the most haphazard and non-uniform way to prevent enemies of the MM machine from posting. They have blacked out the names "Gary" and "Snipe". I think that says it all. I for one plan on posting here during the season. I will only use the MM board as a flaming outpost until I see some changes in their style. It is really to bad, that board has a great format and some decent posters. Oh well, in the words of Fat Bob, "Fuck 'em, really, fuck 'em."

Yeah the guidelines suck, and those are just one person's (the shadow) guidelines. They have 5 guys to delete posts, and not one will ever claim any accountability for their actions. They can simply delete stuff or ban people and hide behind everyone else.

I guess it wouldn't matter if they didn't hold childish vendettas. Most of the stuff they delete is garbarge that people don't want to read. That gives them credibilty. Then Gary Griffin can use that credibility against posters that he simply doesn't like. If someone else said the exact things that I said, they wouldn't be deleted or banned. And who else has really been banned? As much as people here are bitching and complaining about their policies, they aren't banning any other regular posters except me. And when I asked why I was banned, the arrogant bastard tells me that my posts are generally useless and taking up space. I am sure that he enjoyed that very much. I have been posting on these boards since their begining on the net, and I am a rabid follower of the Muskies. To be excluded by the all powerfull Gary Griffin for a past vendetta just shows what a little man that he is.

I enjoyed your shot about Muskieman's coworkers. I still can't believe he tried to pass of the "nameless" attacks he made that way. What a jock sniffing half-wit. His own posts are like a charicature making fun of himself. The inmates are truely running the asylum.
