Subject: **Sam walks into her room, closing the door softly behind her.**

**She first washes her face in the basin of water, humming a soft tune as she does so. She then dries her face with a torn rag, looking at herself in the mirror. She plays with her hair a little, putting it up and batting her eyelashes in a playful way. She chuckles at herself, puts a hand on her hip and says with an unknown accent . . .** Helo. I am Ruth. Ruth McDonald and I love you, Danny. **She puckers her lips and makes a smacking sound. **She laughs, letting her short hair down and looking out the window and sighing. She then takes off her boots and sighs again. She opens the mirror as if was a cabnet to uncover a small space where there is an old, warn, journal. She takes it out, along with a pen and ink well and writes for a while, stopping everonce in a while to look out the window.**
