He nods slowly as she finishes telling her tale..looking as if to be seeing everything she said withen his minds eye.

His dark eyes had become momentarily clouded by her story, but the brewing storm creeps away at her question. Here, he chuckles softly for some yet unknown reason, the beginings of a smirk pulling the corners of his mouth.

#Honestly? I have no idea.#

Allowing a pause his gaze drifts off t'wards the crowd. Then, seeming to suddenly remember the present, he returns his attention to Arwen and shrugs casually.

#Maybe I should explain that... I was sent here by the..you might say, 'leaders', of my homeworld. For what reason I have yet to find out. I just know that it was the first thing all of those high-ups ever agreed about. It could be they just got sick and tired of putting up with me.#

He grins at this

#But, sense I had better not go into that.. I was just told to sit tight and wait. They never bothered to tell me what to wait for, or for how long. I could end up sitting her for a month and nothing may come, though I got the drift that's doubtful.. You see, my world is split up into factions. Each one with completely opposite views. We aren't at war, but we are always arguing. The leaders of each faction never -and I mean never-agree on anything except the fact they disagree. And sometimes, they even disagree on that! So I suppose I ought to feel honoured that they went to all the trouble of actually agreeing on me. But, somehow, I'm not. It's very likely this will either turn out to be a wild goose chase or a suicide mission.#
