Subject: girding it up

Well, tomorrow we are playing downtown at The Bottom Lounge. I love playing in the city, but its such a test of oneself to get down there. Theres never any parking, (last time we went downtown i got a ticket for no reason), the traffic sucks, and I almost always, always get friggen lost. Still, the people are totally rad in the city and the tension and ego levels seem to be a bit lower than at the shows in "the burbs". Plus, the girls are older and of legal tender. After a close call at work (thanks tiff) I hooked it up so that Rich and I will be breaking in our new tour bus AKA this busted ass suburban Rich's cousin is lending us for shows and touring purposes. Tomorrow will be its maiden voyage. We'll see if she can handle the traffic caused tomorrow by the crazy cubbies game. We're playing with some rad bands, (Dear You, and Big Big Shoulders) who weve played with before so it should rock..hopefully not too many shite screamo bands like last time...we are so sick of that shit. Anyway, we're all set to bring The Rock! So whatch yo-self foo!
