Bit and Byte along with Grizzly Slash had now set down on the surface of the moon. They had also just then detected another landing party on the opposite side of the complex. Bit set up a comm channel with Vile to inform him of the situation…
Bit: Sir Vile, I have an important status update!
Vile: What is it Bit?? I don’t have time to waiste talking to you so this had better be important!
B: Sir, we have detected another landing party on the other side of the moon.
V: Could it be the enemy’s reinforcements??
B: Its possible, but from what I can tell they are also an invasion party.
V: What do you mean? Can you get any info on who these guys are working for?
B: We have our Intel team working on it right now.
Suddenly there was a noise from one of Bit’s consoles
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
B: Huh? (He looks down at a status report)
V: What is it?
B: It seems that the other invading party bears the insignia of the Maverick Hunters.
V: So, they have finally decided to make a move have they? Well, good work, keep me posted…and Bit…you know what the penalty for failure is….
B: Indeed, but I hear that the HQ is under attack as well, so you had best remember that too!
V: I’d advise you to watch your tongue, you are a mere minion, I can say the word and you cease to exist, got that!?
B: A likely story, you hold no status or rank above me!
V: What!!!?
Suddenly a voice from the shadows…
Doppler: Vile! Bit! Do not try my patience, lest you wish to see my wraith first hand!!
Vile and Bit in synchronism: Yes my lord!
At that the com channel went dead.
Vile turned to Doppler
V: What do you think about this? The hunters seem to be splitting their forces on three separate fronts…
D: Indeed, it makes one wonder exactly what the hunters are planning?
V: Yeah…but it also means that not all of the Hunters forces have attacked at once, which makes my job a lot easier.
D: Make sure none of them make it to this complex alive!
V: Yes, my lord.
Back on the other side of the moon…
Zero was looking over the training reports and studying RX’s movements when a hunter came in to give him a report…
H: Sir, we have an update for you on the status of this mission!
Zero put down the reports on RX and turned to the Hunter
Z: What is it?
H: Sir, another landing party has been spotted on the other side of the complex!
Z: Hmm…I see
H: They appear to be troops of Dr.Doppler.
Z: I thought as much, tell your men to be prepared.
H: But sir, you don’t seem at all surprised
Z: That’s because our intelligence is the best in the world (Zero Smirked)
H: I see, I’ll prepare the men now for attack against the complex.
Z: Oh and one more thing, be careful and don’t act recklessly, if you spot Ryujin X, do not engage him, try and keep him there and call me strait away.
H: Yes sir! (He salutes then turns and leaves the shuttle)
Z: Hmm…RX…can you really have gone Maverick??? I wonder how X is faring…
At the centre of the complex…
BR and RX were now locked up in a maximum security cell…
RX: What did you mean earlier when you spoke of a reactor?
BR: The Particle cannon that Wily is using, it needs so much power to break trough the atmosphere, much greater than that of any particle cannon on the earth firing up.
Therefore its designer used a fusion reactor seeing as it was the only suitable generator.
RX: I see…so that means that if this place was hit with a direct hit, then it could rupture the reactor causing an explosion large enough to destroy the entire moon.
BR: Exactly, so before we escape we have to remove that reactor and get it as far away from the moon as possible
RX: But how exactly do you intend to do that? Surely something capable of generating that much power must be enormous.
BR: Quite the contrary, its actually small enough to be carried by hand.
RX: Interesting….very well, on our escape route we’ll make a quick detour to the control room of that cannon and remove it
BR: But it will be very heavily guarded
RX smirked
RX: That’s never stopped me before!
BR: Heh..
RX: How are you now?
BR: I’ve regenerated some of my energy…I’d estimate about 15%…so unfortunately I’m in no condition to fight.
RX: That’s ok, you’ll be back to yourself soon…can you stand?
BR: I should be ok as long as I’m not attacked
RX: You don’t have to worry about that. Ok, so we make our escape as soon as we hear the sirens for an attack.
BR: Understood, but RX, we HAVE to get that generator at ALL costs
RX: I know…leave it to me, ok get ready!
At the control centre for the complex (separate from the one for the particle cannon)
Wily and Sigma looked over the security monitors…
W: It seems that out “guests” have arrived.
S: Heh, we should give them a “warm” welcome! Prepare all units for an attack, all defences on standby!!
W: I sense something…it seems my “masterpiece” is also here…
Wily looked to a security camera showing Bit and Byte
W: And it seems some of your “old friends” are here also
S: Mwhahaha!! Well if it isn’t Bit and Byte! The traitors! I’ll crush all of them!! Including Vile!!!!
W: Well, why don’t you pay them a visit??
S: Heh, I just may do that…they will all pay! Nobody betrays Sigma and lives!!!
All the stage is set and the players ready for action. It will be an entertaining battle…

(Was that ok everyone?? Oh and G-man, I’m not sure what you are planning, but I think you should leave Vile and the 8 specialists alive and let RX,BR and Zero join X and IO on Dopplers Island to finish them off, sort of like a final showdown.)
As for Bit and Byte, I’m not exactly sure what I’m going to do with them, does anyone else have any plans to do with them that I should know about? If not I’ll probably just kill them off, but if anyone has any good Idea’s or plans for them then let me know.
