RX and Zero both looked at each other after looking to BR as he fell unconscious.
Z: You did this to Bladerunner!!
RX: Huh? What are you talking about?
Z: Don’t try to lie to me, why else would you be here? And with BR in this condition?
RX: I don’t have time for this!!! I brought him here so that he could escape, I have “other” matters to attend to….
Z: You might be innocent, but at the moment the evidence is not in your favour, come quietly with me for questioning and you won’t be harmed.
RX: Look at that reploid who came with you, he’s unconscious, probably dead, does that mean you did that to him? Hardly, so get out of my way!!
Z: I can’t do that, I have my orders, come quietly or I will take you by force.
RX: I don’t care what your orders are, I have things to do….get in my way and I won’t be held responsible for what happens to you, besides…your getting cocky Zero, what makes you think you could take me so easily?
Z: I have my reasons and I have my orders, will you come quietly or not?
RX: No…
RX began to walk off towards the door he came trough when suddenly Zero grabbed his wrist from behind, RX quickly turned to face Zero.
RX: Let go of me Zero….
RX stared into Zero with a deadly glare
Z: I said your coming with me!!
RX: Well then….it seems I have no choice…
Z: So you are going to comply?
RX spun with a kick that knocked Zero away and made him lose his grip, Zero was knocked back by the unexpected force of the blow but quickly recovered his balance by flipping backwards, while in mid flip he unleashed his Z-Sabre and as the flip ended he landed in a battle ready stance.
RX dashed at Zero with a punch which Zero easily dodged to RX’s surprise, but RX quickly back spun with a reverse backhand punch, that again Zero dodged by ducking. From the corner of his eye RX saw Zero beginning to rise, but he was still in the middle of his punch, he tried to dash backwards but was not fast enough to dodge the attack. He was only able to move barely enough to stop himself from being sliced apart by Zero’s rising blade attack (not his fire move from X4, just a normal slash).
The attack caught RX on his left shoulder and left a large slice. RX jumped backwards and the two stood still for a few moments…RX gripped his shoulder in pain as sparks of electricity emanated from the gash on his shoulder.
RX was confused and surprised by this…he thought to himself:
“What the hell?? How was he able to dodge those attacks so easily? Is this Zero’s true power?? No…nothing can react that fast…something is wrong…but I can’t figure out what, there is no way he would have had time to dodge both of my attacks and counter like that in that short space of time….”
Z: What’s the matter Ryujin X? Did you underestimate your opponent? (Zero quipped)
Are you going to surrender now? I don’t want to have to injure you further…
RX: Not a chance!! This fight has not even started yet!!
RX unleashed his right energy blade
Z: RX, this is foolish…
RX: We shall see!!
RX dashed forward with a blade attack, and he and Zero traded and deflected each others blows for a few moments, the RX lunged forward and Zero spun to the right with his blade, which cut RX across his right torso. RX fell in the direction he lunged, tumbling across the ground.
He slowly stood up holding his injured torso as sparks flew now from both of his injuries.
Z: Please RX, just come with me and you won’t have to be injured anymore, I mean you can barely stand, one or two more blows like that and you won’t even be able to move.
RX contemplated for a moment…
“Ugh…what is going on?? Nobody is that fast…its physically impossible….how is he doing this? I have to beat him…I MUST!!!! I have to get to Sigma!!!! Better take a defensive stance for now until I figure out what’s going on…”
RX stood up and held his blade and body in a defensive stance
Zero: That’s a good tactic, trying to defend after two failed attempts at attacking me, but it won’t work either, just give up, I don’t want to have to kill you, if you are innocent you have nothing to hide.
RX: Well then, if your so confident why don’t you come and attack me?
RX smirked
Zero dashed at RX with a blade slash, suddenly RX pushed his blade to the ground from the other side and then with one hand on the ground spun with two kicks to Zero’s face followed just after that move finished by a jumping knee forward from the ground that hit Zero square in the face and knocked him back, RX tried to follow this up with a downward slash from the air, but Zero saw it coming, quickly dodged and sliced RX in the right knee from the side in mid air.
RX tumbled to the ground and slide across it into a wall, Zero was now in the air above him decending with his Ice attack from X4. RX saw the attack and quickly rolled behind Zero, and the quickly tripped him up from behind and then jumped backwards.
RX: Huff….huff…..huff….
RX was now on one knee as sparks flew from his multiple injuries, he looked forward as Zero came forwards with a punch that RX blocked with his right arm, and the countered with his left elbow that hit Zero in the chest, then Zero hit with more punces as RX desperately tried to block, but then was hit by one in the face that knocked him back, Zero came again with a lunging strike, which RX grabbed his wrist and threw him sideways over his head in the ground, then RX kicked him in the chest with made him slide across the floor.
RX now fell to his knee’s again, now holding his side as blood streamed down from his mouth and sparks flew from his body, Zero was now already back on his feet in his battle stance
RX again comtemplated on what was happening
“What the hell? Something is not right…..damn him….ugh…”
