I have a piebald doxie & he is adorable. A true piebald is not a bad sign & yes there is such a "color."
They have to have the piebald gene in order to get a piebald. This is unlike, say, Labs where you can breed 2 black Labs & you never know what color pups you will get. Piebalds have to have the piebald gene & thier color is their self color super-imposed with white. My little guy, "Scooter" is balck & white & looks like he could do Gateway Computer ads or do Chik-fila ads, because he has cow spots. Their mannerisms & behaviors are total doxie!!!!
