I agree that George Clooney has made the transition from tv to the big screen quite well. He has made some rather good movies (I especially liked Oceans Eleven) and it seems he is being careful about the scripts he chooses. He has gotten into the position of being able to pick and choose the films he wants to make.

DD on the other hand hasn't really done much of anything really good outside of Return to Me which I really liked. His other movies are grade B (if that) and I was quite disappointed that he even made them. They were similar to most of his pre-XFiles days (poor story-lines, etc.) and I would think that given his talents, he would be a little more careful of what he does. He was funny on the tv show "Here's Bonnie" but again the comedy was more of a slapstick nature than anything else.
