Subject: No, kenamom, I don't watch Letterman.

...And I guess it shows. I'm not used to his type of humor I guess. I haven't watched since the last time DD or GA was on. I remember I thought he was rude to GA as well several years ago.

More power to you if you think his brand of humor is funny. I guess as long as he has an audience that appreciates him he'll be on the air. I just perceived the segment entirely differently. Just like the XFiles, huh? We all see something different.

I should have said "some" of us fans were insulted. Sorry for grouping you and others together with my opinion.

However, if Letterman was going to discuss XFiles, why didn't he discuss the XFiles, instead of the lawsuit DD couldn't discuss? umm, my bad, but I don't see the humor in badgering someone like that. It just seemed like a missed opportunity.

Yeah, I see where DD's statement about the fans could have been taken offensively, but there again I thought it was just one of his attempts at being funny with his sometimes strange wit.

Maybe DD was being a sport and going along with him instead of getting huffy. I don't know.

Chantal
