We only call whiskey, "whisky". But things like Southern comfort and Jack Daniels are like American whiskey's aren't they? We don't have anything we call Scotch and I've never heard of Johnny Walker. The most popular brands are Famous Grouse, High Commisioner, Whyte & McKay and J&B (which is expensive stuff) but there are hundreds of different ones. Do you get any of those brands in the US?

If you ever do visit Scotland Fife's a great place to see, especially if you're into historic sites. StAndrews is really interesting and it's got a great beach.

PS what does the work "aisle" mean?
