Sounds like everything went well!! I'm happy for them. Has anybody heard what Madeline has had to say about her new baby brother?? I bet she's thrilled; contrary to all the stuff about older kids resenting their new siblings, mine were always excited when we got a new baby.
I don't think Kyd (or Kydd) is all that odd of a name. There's a prominent business man in the town where I live named Kidd, so I guess it seems kind of normal to me. Not exactly what I would have chose for one of my own children, but not nearly as weird as what some celebs go with.
