I went to the Reign of Fire premiere and guess who was there!

I joined my friends from the Evolution premiere to take in another one. Word was out that David Duchovny and Mitch Pileggi would both be there in support of the film's director who is XF director Rob Bowman. But boy did we get a bonus!

When Mitch showed upm shortly after that I spot none other than Robert Patrick! Both guys looking very nice but RP was particularly handsome in person. This was my first time seeing either of them live. They were signing autographs. My friend Jadzia who is one of the Skinner Wenches got Mitch's attention and said "the Wenches say hi". Mitch looked up and smiled and we both waved at them (Even though I'm not a Skinner wench I figured what the hay). It was a typical chaotic premiere with everyone trying to get autographs and pictures and everyone screaming. Christian Bale is in the movie and there was a big group of young female fans of his doing a lot of screaming!

Later David shows up with his date...Nicholas Lea! lol
David looked kind of tired. Hmm, I wonder why? I saw a story on ET where he said to the press that the new baby thing was "rough" but "great". He's probably exhausted! He looked good though and so did Nick! :-) Funny thing, we noticed DD was wearing the same shirt he wore to the last premiere--I've been puting photos from that up on the Mulder board. What is that, his official premiere shirt? They all did the press line bit. It was great of them to show up for Bowman, who was the first to arrive. Also there was Martin Landau and another guy who looked a lot like him that we kept thinking was him. "Oh there's Martin Landau. No that's not him." We kept doing that.

Other stars there...John Ritter with his teenage son who looks so much like him. Tia Carrera, and the female lead from the movie, Isabella something. We, of course, didn't care much about her with the strong X-Files contingency to keep us occupied! Right before RP went inside he waved at the crowd. I waved back and he looked in my direction. Since I think I was the only one waving I'm going to say he was looking at me. :-) Melissa, he looked really good!

After the premiere I saw RP walking across the street and talking to a policeman. David got into a black sedan. I was surprised he wasn't in one of the limos. And Nick got in the same car after David and so did some woman. (Sorry SMH! But she didn't seem really cozy with him or anything so maybe she was just an agent or publicist or something.

Mitch's wife (and GA's standin) Arlene was also there and when they left holding hands they walked and walked and walked through the Westwood streets! Where the heck were they going!? Apparently there was some special lot where some of them had parked but it sure was far from the theater!

It sure was fun to see so many of the X-Files gang there and I think it says a lot about their loyalty that they all were there to support Rob's movie.
