yeah, we're tight ;). Actually, I've never met him, although I suppose I could arrange it if I had any overwhelming desire to do so, being as I work at the paper.
For a relatively small town, we actually seem to have a fair number of celebrities. Most of them are sports celebrities (or maybe I just know more of the sports ones, because of my husband's job); several NFL players went to the local high schools. The best known one is probably Bobby Taylor of the Philadelphia Eagles. Also, George Foreman (a boxer) lives near here.
We've also got a country singer who lives here, but here's a jerk and everybody who actually knows him (or his kids or his wife) can't stand him.
