I'm also pretending that Jump The Shark didn't happen. It's not so much that I'm against TLG dying (though it certainly made me sad), it's that it was done in such a horrible fashion. Chris Carter had to soothe his ego by using his one successful show as a vehicle to close out his failure of a show. So instead of getting answers this close to the end of the series, we get a plotline that has nothing to do with TXF, and we get TLG dying for nothing. If they died helping Mulder, or in pursuit of The Truth, then so be it. But it was stupid the way they died.

I also pretend that a certain scene that occured in a garage at the end of season 8 didn't happen. I think we all know what I'm talking about. And, for the record, if that actually had taken place (which it didn't), Skinner obviously shot a clone.
