I watched the show primarily to see Mulder and Scully. I don't care if they got together or not, in fact, it may have been better if they hadn't but since they did in Season 7 I guess CC would have dealt with it. It probably would have been very different if they knew David wasn't leaving.
But I'd watch those two under any circumstances because I enjoyed their relationship and how they reacted to their situations and DD and GA worked so well together.

I watched another Thin Man movie. This is the third I've seen. In this they mention they have a son in kindergarten but they didn't want to take him out of school so he wasn't with them on their trip. They took Asta the dog though who is much more fun anyway! LOL. But there you go, they had their kid and then put him in the background and got on with the story. They easily could have done that on the X-Files without all of the baby/alien mess.
