I don't think it matters to *me* who is right, I'm just one for the endings that live up to the line, "The truth is out there." Endings that leave the "thing" out there, like FTF, Badlaa, Jersey Devil and many other eps in the really early days. More eps that didn't have a nice, happy resolution, where people thought they'd caught the monster but it's really still out there.
