Introducing Myself

I just thought that I would say "hello" to everyone, some of you may have seen me on the OS.

This morning in my message box was a note from someone inviting me to check out this forum. It's taken a bit of getting used to, but I have to say that I love the look of the place.

I am a 37 year old mother of three. I think I am fairly friendly and have a great sense of humor (but I guess everyone thinks that of themselves). I have been watching the X-Files for the last um...hmmm...boy, it's been a while for me...I guess that I have been a phile for the last three years. But since becoming one, I have seen all of the episodes (you know how this goes - more than once each!). I have never been into television really, but this show is ....well, I don't need to tell anyone here how wonderful it is.

I have been overall very happy with the changes in characters. It's taken some adjustment...and I still miss Mulder and Scully, but it's still wonderful to explore the paranormal and the unexplained. Although if someone could explain how everything still fits into the mytharc neatly, that would be nice.

My one pet peeve is when people mistake their opinions for fact on the OS message board...or the ones who visit it day in/day out for the sole purpose of complaining about it. I like the show. For me, it's doing the best it can and is still very well worth the hour spent watching.

Well, that's me in a nutshell. I hope to visit here again...assuming that I will know if someone responds. Um...and assuming that uh....this ends up some place where people can see it.

I have to say here that I am not the pointiest crayon in the box, so...it may take me a while.
