I know you from the OS and am very glad someone invited you over here. I huess this place would take a bit of getting used to but for some of us, these forums are set up more like the old XF message boards and it was the new OS that was confusing to us! Iut's just a different setup. I hope you will stick with us. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

To answer your question, the threads are already fanned out with all the responses. Each thread is separated with a dividing line. You do have to click on each individual post to read the message or click "next" as Melissa said, but it's usually pretty quick. That's just how it works around here.

As yet we don't have email notification although I think Voy forums, where we reside might be adding that in the future. So you just have to check in here to see if there are new messages.

You might like to read my FAQ page listed on the main page. (Especially note #14). Some things about how these boards work are explained there.

One thing about these boards that may keep OSers away is that we don't have the volume of people here. So if someone posts a message and doesn't get an answer in a few minutes like at the OS they might think no one cares or is listening. Most people here just check in once or twice a day so if you post a message you simply need to check for responses later in the day or the next day. Sometimes it even takes a few days to get things going. But believe me, we are a civilized bunch (usually!) and the conversations are a lot of fun. None of that childish garbage the OS has!

So please feel free to visit the other boards. Some peoe like to stick to certain boards so you should wander around a bit and meet the whole gang. And tell your friends! I'd love to get more of the good thinking
people from the OS over here. Glad you made it and let me know if I can help with anything else.
