Which were the other four shows you watched so closely, CW?
If you've read some of my comments on the Off-Topic board, you'll know that every time I start watching a new show with its pilot ep, the show doesn't even make it for a full season.
The only other show that I ever liked anywhere near as much as "XF" was "Remington Steele". It was much "lighter" than XF but still had the twin elements of mystery and romance that drew me to XF.
