And now I must talk about the PIZZA episode.

I didn't even know what ep this was until the pizza scene came on.

Well as for the story I think it was just a way of getting Doggy and Reyes back in the picture and establishing a link between them and letting us get to know them a bit more. Frankly I think they make a good team and would be more than happy for them to be on the X Files together. I don't like her that much but she's ok. I think she and Doggy are good enough for eachother but I can't say if I'll be tuing in to see them every night. I think they will do fine though if XF continues.

I always wonder what happens to these poor little scarred for life children who's parents get killed or sent crazy [last night's mother] or get taken by aliens.

Now for M and S. I think the whole theme throughout the ep was Scully trying to link back up with Mulder. He's still a bit detached and maybe still doesn't know where he fits into her life and the baby's life and she seemed to be trying to build bridges. The first scene was strange in that I couldn't work out if she was expecting him or not. Was she getting pizza for herself and he just turned up or was she expecting him but later. I loved that he was wondering what HE should know about the pizza man. He was in 'mock' seriousness about that too. As if he had a stake in her. Loved his look when the pizza guy turned out to be very dorky looking. Some people thought that she told Mulder to pay for the pizza. No she didn't. She just said to give it to him. She sat down and just expected him to pay. So you were right those people who thought that they were chummy enough by now to expect him [or her] to pay without question. Perhaps he was coming over anyway. I don't know. As for the Mad about You comment . Well, I don't think those people were right who said that Mulder had a certain tone to his "WE only work together comment. " There was no tone. He just said it. I don't think any emotion was attached. She just came back with her comment of "You know what I'm talking about" too without any reaction to his comment of them only working together. To me it seemed like they'd discussed their relationship ages ago and have no hangups about it. I could have took it that it was a jibe at her for being the one to stipulate that their relationship stay a working one but I don't even think this was the case. I think it was just words. Also, if she was going to get in the shower why did she already have on her jarmies? I would have thought that she would have finished her shower. I think she had and was waiting for the pizza guy but it came out that she was going to jump in the shower. That bit was a bit of nonsense. I think her hormones are playing up with her mind. Saying the wrong words and thinking others. I could get that bit.

At the hospital.....As for him saying that he was not the husband. ....well there was no time to explain anything. It was a quick response to a rushed question and he said no in a way that sounded like it could have been elaborated on if he'd been given the chance. But they shut him out. I think by later scenes that he had explained and had been given more clearance although the nurse did say something about "You guys never learn" when she found Doggy in the room. LOved the way that Mulder got Doggy out of her room. I thin he too couldn't understand why Doggy would want to be in there. I think Doggy realised he had overstepped the mark and so made the comment about being in the hospital for something else.

Scully likes Doggy but she did NOT want him in her hospital room with her. She was shocked to find him there and she was not interested in talking to him. She called him Doggett [instead of Agent Doggett] for the first time and it was accentuated and totally without that softness that she says Mulder , with. Doggy is in love with Scully or thinks he is. He's always taking liberties with their friendship [I use that term lightly] ...eg. telling Skinner not to tell her about opening Mulder's grave. How dare he,say that to Skinner who has known and been through more with Scully than anyone but Mulder; and by being in her room etc. He should get the hell away and leave Mulder to be her partner [in all ways]. He spoke to the doctor when Mulder was on the phone to Reyes and said "WE don't need to worry. " What's this WE? How dare he put his worrying factor on the same guage as Mulder's.

When Mulder poked his head in the door to ask if Scully was awake she was really glad to see him. She loved that he touched her stomach. He was in his glory. She was really relaxed and comfortable with what he was doing. Once again her comment about she and Mulder being unalike was another olive branch to him to try and link them together and remind him of what they [had] have together. How they feel about eachother. She has a very bad knack of saying something profound and instead of waiting for Mulder's reaction she keeps talking on another subject and we never see what her comment has made him say or react to.

As for the end.. well ....Mulder was in nice mock sadness when she said she missed her regular pizza guy but he did look abit concerned when she said that he was coming by later. Teasing him was another way to get his feelings going again and establishing their old selves and old ways with eachother. I think they are really ok now.

As for the technical stuff. I think they wrote GA out of most of that show because she had the flu. I have always wondered if actors get sick. They don't seem to but she definitely had a cold at least in the begining and ending scenes. I think they might have done a quick rewrite or maybe not. I thought the doll was nice. I like dolls and keepsakes. It was nice of Mulder to give it to her. I ddin't like her comment about passing the courage to believe, on. It sounded like SHE would be doing the passing on because Mulder wouldn't be. Or maybe that was another link on the bridge to get him thinking about passing his beliving ability on too. I thought that too about how she constantly thought about the present while she was in hospital. Hmmm. Thinking aobut his present and thinking about him. Very good.

It will be good to have Doggy and Reyes have a different relationship than M and S had/have. Hopefully there will be no chemistry as such and no romantic links , UST, DAL or whatever. It will be nice to see them with other people too without jealousy and also two people who call eachother by their first names. That way it won't be too much of a copy cat Mulder and Scully partnership. I hope that everyone comes to refer to them as Monica and John. Or if you like...Mon and John.

I enjoyed this show and it was really good that I knew absolutely nothing about it except that I had seen quick pizza clips. That was definitely not a spoiler for me.

WEll I think that is all.
