I liked the conversation about the "gift" because she said (something like - not exact) "that other gift you gave me" and he was expecting her to say the baby, and we were expecting her to say the baby and she didn't. Playing with us again. Its fun.

I always wonder about the little kids as actors themselves -and their parents - I certainly wouldn't want a child of mine acting in something where a gun is pointed in their face, or they have to be dead or something (worse in some movies).

the doggett/scully thing baffles me. I can't see any reason for the writers to put it in there. And its definately there. I read an interview with robert patrick at the start of the season and he said that doggett "falls in love" with scully after she throws water in his face. why? I suppose I think too much in outcomes and maybe its just there to create tension between mulder and doggett and thats it. still its a bit annoying.

oh, and the ep overall was pretty good :)
