Subject: Finally got to go! **SPOILER ALERT**

I really liked it. I did read spoilers - I was green with envy that everyone else got to go - but poop happens. I am glad I did go tonight. The theater was quiet....sadly too quiet though. I hope it turns a decent profit so they do make another.

I will wait till 2012.

As for the movie - I started another tree because I didn't know where to butt in below - during the movie I kept thinking, tell Det that....agree with BDM there....LOL.

Being a flaming shipper I am thrilled with the relationship. They are a couple - appreciate the married argument and it does gain points considering Scully's religion. But the MSR is far beyond a traditional relationship, who else has shared each others dream while drugged out in a mushroom field? They held out for so long - damn you all to hell CC - to protect each other from harm. Furthermore - she stood up to the administration regarding the treatment. Obviously overstepping someone because she continued with the treatment. Considering the facts - why wouldn't she reject marraige as she rejected other aspects of the church.

Anyway kande's a newlywed and like all newlyweds thinks EVERYONE should be married....hehehehe.

The story - interesting. I did feel a connection between the two story lines. Saving Scullys young patient - the horrible harm done to the boys by the priest - there must be some balance there. I agree Scully's back and forth of helping on Mulders quest was overdone - hard to claim she is a stubborn red head.

I think the naysayer FBI agent was underplayed - M&S got worse ribbing around the water cooler in their prime. It wasn't until the ASAC (that was right wasn't it, Amanda Peats charactor was the ASAC) died did the 100 other agents develope a spine? It was obvious when Mulder was in the room they all thought he was a quack. Yet they all go along with the little lady and the quack? Where's the old agents who used to pull the survalence or worse yet, have them off the case. I asked if she was in charge because I was sure one or even two of the other agents refered to her as such - yet she was not very strong, seemed indesisive and more interested in if Mulder shaved. Strong women like that don't flirt on the job while the Ms is right there....

I did like the ending. I thought everything came together in a weird sort of XFiley way. My favorite part......Scully saves Mulders ass in the end. The comparisms to the first movie was overdone - I giggled when Skinner was trying to warm up Mulder while Scully is saving the girl in the water - Mulder even wimpered 'so cold' or something along that lines. For the record, that was my big beef with the first movie. Mulder saves Scully. Scully was unconscious for most of the film. Yawn.

Little things I LOVED....yes, the President Bush joke - too funny. CC sitting in the hospital hallway reading a magazine during one of the M&S scenes, the I want to believe poster - the very very ending THANK YOU CW - everyone left and finally I said something to the two last people and they stayed. They liked it! I waved back.

Oh ya, stupid thought. When Mulder went off on his own, he was driving a ford escort - I giggled, thinking it was another little nod - then later he apologised to Scully for recking her car? Would Scully really buy a white ford taurus after all those rental cars? Or maybe she liked them? LOL. Was I looking too much for the little things?

And yes, I did wear my Scully Marathon T to the movie. On the front it says (in 5 languages) "What would Scully do"
and on the back it says, 'Begin with a Y incision"

Kande sent it to me!
