I believe that people who haven't got to worry about where their next meal is coming from, have to find something else to worry about. They choose to focus on the deep seated insecurities about relationships, whereas most people just knuckle down and get on with things. The kind view is that they are ultra-sensitive and aware of the emotional pitfalls created by fame, etc but IMO, it is nearer to the truth that they are worryingly self-indulgent and narcissistic.
