I don't know how to do the whistle! (I just got your e-m ;-) ).

Actually I only just startd seing that show a year or two ago. When I was in Oz which was in 1990 I went to an animal sanctuary where they had the original Skippy. I think it was the real one anyway. I don't know if we had ever gotten the show here but I had heard of it.

We have this fairly new cable channel called Animal Planet (they show Steve's shows) and they have been showing Skippy reruns so that's where I first saw it. I was so curious to see it! These are definately the old ones (from the 60s? ). It reminds me a lot of a show I watched when I was little called Gentle Ben. The father was a Sheriff in the Florida Everglades and his son has a pet grizzly bear.

I think we may have gotten some eps of Home and Away and Neighbours here on another obscure cable channel but they really didn't interest me. I got bored with my own US soap so I would have hard time getting intersted in one from somewhere else coming in the middle and not knowing what was going on. I'd love to see more of your dramas though.

Have you ever seen the multi part movie with Bryan Brown called A Town Like Alice? That movie was one big reason I wanted to visit that town when I was in Australia. Much more than the Crocodile Dundee influence. And apparently a lot of others do too. It's a tourist attraction. I loved series! I wish we'd get more like that here.

Oh you gotta see The Sixth Sense! It was my favorite film of last year and I think it's becoming one of my all time favorites. Very X-Filey!

Hey, I know how you evil older sisters can be! ;-) I'm the youngest with an older sister.

det :-)
