I loved Gentle Ben. Actually the boy out of that I'm sure was one of the yokels in "Water Boy." Have you seen that movie? The boy is now quite bald but still looks exactly the same. And wasn't Dennis Weaver the father? Great show.

You must have been to the same park as I went to. Waratah National Park where they shot the skippy series. I stood on that helipad and was just awestruck. I just couldn't believe I was at Ranger Headquarters. And this from a woman of 28. I was there in 92. We took some visitors from Europe there to pat the kangaroos etc.

As kids, we used to sit glued to Skippy every afternoon. It was such an adventure. She was so clever. That is why they don't show it here any more because all the PC people think that kids should be shown more true to life stuff. Kids just have no chance of having an imagination these days. [And everybody knows that kangaroos are really dumb and could never do anything that Skippy did.] Now, you never heard me say that blasphemous thing did you? When my sister got old enough to protest about being Skippy she then became Sonny and I was Clancy coz I had the blonde plaits. We had to have a pretend Skippy. We must have looked very funny kneeling down and patting the thin air.

Yes "A Town Like Alice" is a good mini series. Another good one is "All the Rivers Run." Different though. "Return to Eden" is also good but was made in the 70's and is a bit dated.

I will definitely get 6th Sense out in the next few weeks and have a look.

Well I haven't mentioned XF so I will as this is an XF board.

XF XF XF XF.........there. :-)
