They should advertise XF more here. But everyone I know doesn't watch XF. 2 of my friends do but one has lost interest and one doesn't always get to see it properly. All others I know don't watch it and they think I am weird for doing so. Some people used to watch it but it left them behind. They just couldn't keep up with the myth. These are the sorts of people who watch telly to vege out rather than to think.
Also XF is on channel 10 here. This channel has only a few hits that keep it alive and they are XF , Simpsons and The Nanny reruns. Most people tune in to other stations for the majority of the time and so don't see XF advertised. The only time I see an XF ad is if I watch The Nanny and they might advertise XF once during that show one or two days before it airs. The network is to blame for lack of XF hype. I think if channel 9 or 7 had XF then it would have a bigger profile. Also these other stations have Aussie shows which they plug full-on and which most people watch. They also have other popular US shows like Friends. 10 has Seinfeld but it isn't as popular here as are other shows in it's timeslot. So not as many people see an XF ad.

As for the video hype, well I found out about Closure when I got my Dreamland tape, which aired after the show aired on TV by the way. I only found out it was available because I saw it in the shop. I didn't even know it was going to be released, unlike One Son which they really plugged. I don't know what has happened. You'd think if they wanted to sell more videos they would plug them. I don't understand it.

Stardoe, confused and wondering if most people she knows have become closet XF watchers due to the stigma now attached to X -Philes.
