KS puts her feet up on the bar while sipping a diet rootbeer float through a twisty straw. She surveys the room with satisfaction and admires her new Doc Martens. "Mine, all mine," she says to herself. She removes a tag from the shirt she's taken from Kande's closet.

KM rushes into the room with a stack of the Noromo Gazette. KENAMOM, ESTEEMED MAYOR AND EDITOR takes up half of the front page. A long shipper saga by IG takes up the rest of the paper except for a small ad on the back page. It reads: "Kande, phone home." There is no signature.

"That's odd," KS says out loud to KM. "Why would anyone want Kande to phone home?" She picks up a whip and snaps it over Bubba's head. "Where's my onion rings?"

KM reaches over and pinches Bubba on the rear. He jumps, banging his head on an overhead shelf. He tries to move out of reach, but KM grabs a broom handle and starts prodding him. "Gimme an ice tea," she demands. "As co-owner of this joint, (here she and KS give each other high-fives) you should start anticipating my every need."
