"Poor KS--that knock on the head must have really done some serious damage but somehow I seriously doubt that she even knows how to hang it straight."

"Damage, smamage" muttered Kande "I've spent enough time on this darn thing and it still isn't hanging straight."

CW looked at her and slowly shook her head. "Let's take another look at the framing job. Maybe the hole is crooked to begin with" she said as they swung the now loosely hanging door.

Meanwhile, Bubba stood staring at JD and KS as they looked at the note. "This looks like something a third grader would write" said a smiling JD. "But then I'm no expert on third grade handwriting" he said quickly as he noticed the bump on KS head start to get redder by the moment.

Bubba was not quite sure if that was an insult but then decided that JD was only trying to placate a suffering KS. "Even he doesn't recognize a Cracker Jack knock knock joke" he thought. "Somebody needs to get a real life!"

Meanwhile, CW and her rather handsome friend started to take the door off it's hinges. "It's really crooked isn't it?" she asked.

"Needs new hinges" he replied as he headed off toward the hardware store. As he drove off he called out "I'll be back in a few minutes."

Kande and CW finished taking off the hinges and trim boards, shimmed the door frame a little better and sat down on the step to wait for the new hinges. "I hope this works" said a rather disgruntled Kande. "KS just isn't happy unless I'm miserable" she said. "I think I am ready for my trip--let's hope Bubba and the Dancing Danas and Red Speedo Review can keep the Klub running and still in one piece when I return."

Returning with new hinges, CW's nameless friend quickly measured the door, put the new hinges on and hung the door with a flourish. Kande stood there staring with her mouth hanging open before turning to thank him. "Haven't I seen you somewhere before?" she asked, scratching her head. "You look familiar now while you were working."

Smiling and giving her a wink, he replied "It all depends."
