yes, you are right. I do like DD but it is Mulder that I lust for. he just does something to me. I didn't realise how much until i saw all those Mulderesque expressions. ooohhhhh.

My stawberries are thriving but no fruit yet. I have no mint now but will go buy some just so the strawbs don't get too lonely. I have lettuces that I let go to seed and they have sprung baby lettuces. Cute. In another area I have cabbages, cauliflowers and broccoli. good winter stock that we can keep harvesting for a couple of months yet. I am about to plant some chillies, beans and carrots. Gotta get some more dirt for the end of the patch that is not yet finished. I am going to disband the strawb patch etc as we are planning an extension of the garage to make a workshop/gym. We can't get the cars in the garage for the gym junk and cupboards full of garage type stuff. So i will relocate my strawb garden and make a proper kitchen herb garden. I do not , however, make things from those herbs like you. Canning etc. Can't do it. No need due to lack of snow but perhaps I might try it sometime. Maybe I could do it for my Xmas fete at school. Put my wares on a stall. It's a thought. I love pickles. DO you ever do pickles? And chutney. Love that. Maybe one day I could make some myself. A shame my grandmother is dead now as she used to pickle stuff and that kind of expertise has died out with the oldies.

I am going to make a sign when my new strawb/mint garden gets relocated and up and running. That's my christmas holiday task, as well as build an outdoor enclosure for my three blue tongue lizards who are growing so fast. Will send pics when it all finally gets done.
