How they could have maintained their ridiculous claims that Mulder and Scully were not madly and obsessively in love with each other I'll never know. And how we could ever have had doubts I'll never know either. I have been home with the flu and have immersed myself in XF and .....it was staring us fair in the face. It's so obvious. I have concentrated on S6.[I think that's the season] I believe that was the big turn around. And of course I've watched each finale ep from the last 3 -4 yrs. But S6 was very interesting. I think that after that declaration of mutual touchstoning in Amor Fati we then had the kiss in Millenium and then after that things had definitely changed. Probably not all the way but definitely there was mutual stuff happening of a more romantic and possessive nature. And in hindsight, watching now, I think we all read too much in to things and in some cases not enough. It's all there though, as plain as day and really those Moronos must have just been humouring us....stirring us along because I fail to see how they could possibly be in that huge amount of denial. I understand how they would not want there to have been romance there but to blatantly deny there was none, .....well.....denial , denial, denial.
