Subject: Mulder and Scully are in danger of losing their title!

Mulder and Scully may soon no longer be able to lay claim to the title of "longest case of UST in TV history!"
Counting the day the Pilot ep first aired (09/10/93) as the day the "met" and the day "all things" first aired as the time they finally brought an end to all those years of UST (yes, I *know* there is still disagreement as to whether or not they did the Naked Pretzel in that ep, but for the purpose of this particular discussion let's just stipulate that they did) they held out for six years, seven months and some odd days.
Mac and Harm on "JAG" have currently being USTing after each other since late January of 1997. . .unless they jump each other in, say, this week's episode (which seems sort of unlikely), I think they will take over the title.
These things seem to be drawing out longer and longer. I remember back in the 1980s when it seemed like couples such as Maddie and Dave (on "Moonlighting") or Remington and Laura (on "Remington Steele") were drawing the UST out for a long time. . .but those shows only lasted five seasons! I guess eventually we'll get a show where the USTing couple meets as teenagers and doesn't "do it" 'til they're in their 30s!
