This is from "Irressitible"; the first time they met Danny Pfaster. IMHO, this was the scariest XF ep ever. . .because the "monster" in this one couldn't be dismissed as a make-believe character.
I agree that there is nothing similar to XF on TV now. There's no show that I really look forward to watching every week with great anticipation. Now, maybe that's a good thing, because if I ever again got as "into" another TV show as I did with XF. . .I think my husband would have legitimate grounds for divorce!
I watch "CSI", "JAG", "Navy NCIS" and "Jake 2.0" on a regular basis and I like them. But, honestly, if I happen to miss an ep it's not a big deal. My VCR messed up somehow when I was trying to record "JAG" a couple of weeks ago and my attitude was pretty much "Darn it. But I can catch it in reruns a few months from now." If that had ever happened when I attempted to record an XF ep, I probably would have cried!
