Vampire Chick was early in season two. Even counting from that point to "all things' late in season seven, we're still talking about five-plus years of celibacy for Mulder. . .a long time compared to the average thirtysomething man. And, yes, I think the only reason he even did it with her was that he was so *desperately* lonely for Scully.
I choose to believe that Scully didn't go all the way with Ed Jerse. I realize that this, like many things in XF, is debatable.
