Scully99 turns on her stool to face KS. "Why didn't you tell me you had John Doggett tied up in an apron at your house?" she gushes at KS, her eyes eating up JD who is wearing only an apron and a bright red face. He looks beseechingly over at KS, who smiles at the sight and then ducks into the laundry room to toss him a pair of jeans. JD backs out of sight into the mudroom off the kitchen to get dressed.

"You never asked," KS tells Scully99 while she pours herself a cup of JD's special cinnamon hot chocolate. "He must have been planning to surprise me with a little afternoon delight or he would have been wearing slightly more clothing."

Scully99's eyes narrow. "Aren't you married?"

"To JD? No, I wouldn't get married in Shipperville!" KS's eyes widen in surprise. "That would ruin the fun."

"What do you mean?" Scully99 cluthes her large carpetbag to her chest. She thinks maybe this KS person is appalling.

"Because if I were married to JD," KS explains patiently, "I wouldn't also be having a fling with Jack."

"Jack who?" Scully99 frantically sifts through her X-file memory. Was there a Jack in one of the episodes?

"You know, from that TV show, '24'," KS explains patiently. "He's gone so much from town, out saving the free world. We only get together a couple of times a year."

"Oh my stars," Scully99 looks around and grabs up a handful of Christmas cards and starts fanning herself.

KS's eyes stare off vacantly into the distance. "Yeah, he's pretty dreamy."

"No, I mean I thought you were married OUTSIDE of Shipperville," Scully99 explains, looking disapprovingly at KS's tight white shirt. Really, the woman had washboard abs. She had no idea why the Mayor and Stardoe had laughed at KS's dress. Must be jealous.

"Oh yeah, well, I am," KS looks over the array of cookies on the sideboard and picks at a piece of a spritz cookie. She pops it into her mouth and glances over at Scully99's open mouth and shocked look. "Like he's going to be jealous over me having a thing for JD and Jack!" she snorts.

"Errr...right," Scully99 gulps. She is about to make up an excuse to leave when a loud banging is heard on the front door.

"I'm coming, hold your horses!" KS exlaims loudly as she strides down the hall to the front door. She flings open the door just as Kande throws herself forward and lands on the floor. "What do you want?"

"I want some cranberries!" Kande screeches while trying to wipe off the blood dripping from her nose.

"Then pick some, you doofus," KS gestures towards the bushes framing the porch. "They're right over there." Kande rushes outside and starts putting red berries in her stocking hat. Shaking her head, KS closes the door to find Scully99 standing there with her hand over her mouth.

"Those aren't cranberries," she says in a hushed voice. "Those are poisonous!"
