As the official Shipperville assassin, I am often called upon during the first week of school to help parents with their own personal slug-a-beds. Gently attempting to wake them by softly calling their name or mild shaking does not work. I suggest hot coals to the feet or a frying pan to the head. If you wish to hire my services, both methods are $50 apiece. For the more difficult slug-a-beds, I cannot divulge my methods here. Call me at 555-she-kill and for a large fee, I will personally see to it that you never have a slug-a-bed in your home again. Also guaranteed to take care of siblings considering slug-a-bed behavior.

P.S. Your slug definitely does NOT need a friend. Slugs are notorious breeders. In fact, if I remember my slug facts correctly, I don't think they even need a friend to breed as they are able to be either gender. Ugh.
