KS beams as kande presses at her little package. She tosses it aside and wanders towards the Mayors large pile. Bubba has stopped laughing at Detoured and is doing an inventory of all the gifts. He stops counting then stares at kande for a moment with a grimice like grin. Tapping his pencil on his clipboard he leans in to whisper something in the Mayors ears.

"really.....are you sure you counted right Bubba" KM askes while smoothing out her red velvet dress. Bubba nods and holds up all three fingers on his left hand.

"Then get me my fine book" she glares at kande, "Did you not get my list this year, I specifically asked for FIVE gifts from each resident. And Bubba only counts three from you."

"That can't be right Mayor, I know I wrapped Five, at least five, your such a wonderful Mayor I am positive I slid more than that under your beautiful tree" kande stalls for time as she begins to sort through the many gifts with the Mayors name on them.

"THREE, thats all we have kande.......so what are you going to do about it?"

Before kande could answer the door bursts open and Stardoe rushes in, her arms loaded with many brightly wrapped prezies (thats Aussie talk for presents!). She drops them all at the Mayors feet.

"So sorry for being late Mayor, but you know the time change and all."

"Christmas is earlier in Australia, so that excuse doesn't wash, but considering you come bearing gifts, your forgiven"

"Oh Thank you Mayor, I must leave anyway. The hoards of mice are having their own Christmas party and I am observing the rituals. Maybe I can figure a way to rid Shipperville of the little rodents. Although I must admit the gifts are really cute, I wonder where they found Marvin the Martian wrapping paper?"

"MARVIN THE MARTIAN" kande yells then heads to the door, "Those little rats stole my gifts meant for the Mayor!"

The crowd watches as kande runs out the door. KS closes it then says, "Eggnog anyone?"
