The weather was very blah. Rainy and even a bit cool. We had to have jackets on one day. Sydney weather is pretty rotten these days. Compared to once. But they did need the rain. Maybe if it keeps up they won't have to have water restrictions. They should be on them now but the premier is coming up to an election so he won't enforce them. They are only voluntary at the moment. But we had fun anyway as it was warm most of the time. Humid. Nice in the pool.

You should come back one day. You would have liked the CBD on Christmas Day. We drove through on our way to pick up a relative and it was deserted. Only a few cars down the main street and that was it. One or too in other streets and us of course. Do your cities desert like that on Christmas? It was like a ghost town. A couple of tourists walking around and that was it. Hardly a soul to be seen anywhere. I found it quite a novelty. I felt like getting out of the car and lying down in the middle of the street. It would have made for some terrific quirky photography. Hubby would not have had the patience to stop though.

Happy New Year. See you in the future....which is only 4 hrs away. :-)

Stardoe
